Water Trackers are expert protectors of water and guardians of the water cycle! They know all about water efficiency and The Ripple Effect, even encouraging others to get involved with making their own ripples to protect our water supply.
By attending Water Tracker Training Camp, children will earn up to five badges on their journey to become Water Trackers. The activities are flexible; pick and choose the badge or badges you’d like to complete. Each activity contains valuable lessons and you may choose to complete just one or all five; it’s up to you!
Our five activities are curriculum linked and include worksheets for children to use and complete, presentation slides to help your delivery of the activities, along with a Teacher Guide to support you further.

Water Action Badge
Students will make their own Water Action booklet, learning more about water use in the home and starting to act themselves. This activity begins and ends with a class or group survey that should be done a week apart.

Go behind the scenes of the water treatment process with this film, meeting some of the people who work at Northumbrian Water and Essex & Suffolk Water. Check children’s understanding through quizzes that also show children where they might work within the water treatment cycle, based on their skills and interests.
