Northumbrian Water′s fantastic ‘Make My Day′ campaign is back for 2018.

‘Make My Day′ is the water company′s way of showing its customers just how much they care about them and how important they are to the business through random acts of kindness - and it wants help to identify people or organisations that deserve support.

Nominations are now open for the five-day campaign which will run during National Customer Service Week (October 1-5) and aims to make as many people′s days as possible, in many different ways.

Last year, Northumbrian Water put a smile on the faces of over 6,500 people in the North East areas with random acts of kindness including giving away chocolate, volunteering time for charities and community projects, and organising trips away for someone special.

People are being invited to nominate any person or group of people who they think are amazing. Nominees can be anyone - a friend, family member, work colleague or team, a local charity or community group, and it could be anything - a cake, shopping vouchers, a day trip out or help with their garden!

All they have to do is visit www.makemyday.live and tell Northumbrian Water who they′d like to surprise and, if selected, how they′d like the company to do it. Nominations will be open until July 17 and once closed, will be reviewed by a judging panel.

Northumbrian Water′s customer service director, Claire Sharp, said: "We love our customers and our aim is to show them just how much, through our random acts of kindness. It was a privilege to be a part of providing a nice surprise for thousands of people last year.

"We′re hoping this year′s will be even bigger and better and can′t wait to see the creative ways that people come up with to surprise, amaze and delight those that deserve a treat."
