Britain’s utility company of the year is showcasing some of its newest and most exciting innovation ideas at a ‘super’ event to be held in Newcastle.

The only water company in the country that holds its own festival dedicated to innovation and that brought the North East the pollution busting moss tree will be unveiling some of the big ideas that came out of the Innovation Festival 2018 at the VentureFest North East conference which is being held at St James’ Park in Newcastle on November 14.

The event, that is organised and delivered by The Innovation Super Network, is the region’s innovation conference, bringing together businesses of all sizes and from all sectors to share learning and drive innovation to improve profitability and growth.

Now in its sixth year and now attracting over 700 delegates each year, VentureFest has an excellent track record in delivering direct benefits for businesses of all sizes, structures and sectors and the perfect opportunity for Northumbrian Water to show case their new ideas.

Ideas that include a new take on reward and incentive schemes,  a unique B2B time exchange system, concepts for the future of transport and ‘Pink’ an app to support women with the menopause.

Northumbrian Water will have three stands in the partner exhibition area of the conference with information on all of the ideas and the Innovation Festival 2018.

Speakers from company will be also be giving keynote speeches throughout the day on subjects including ‘women in innovation’.

Nigel Watson said: “We love the Innovation Super Network, they’re a great friend and partner to us and they love all things innovation almost as much as we do, so we’re delighted to be joining them at VentureFest and to have the opportunity to showcase some of the amazing ideas that came out of our Innovation Festival this year at the event.

“If you’re coming along then make sure you speak to us there. We’ve got some amazing ideas from our Innovation Festival that we are busy turning into real life and that we’re really keen to share.”
