Around 17,000 Essex & Suffolk Water customers in Leigh-on-Sea will be offered a completely free water saving visit from a qualified plumber. The visits include the installation of a number of free water saving products, and is worth up to £130.
Alongside the free water saving home visits, Essex & Suffolk Water will be running a number of events and initiatives with the local community in Leigh-on-Sea to spread the Every Drop Counts message. This includes local school visits from the Super Splash Heroes - an interactive play and workshop which helps children learn the importance of saving water. There will also be a number of community outreach and customer engagement events.

Our award-winning Every Drop Counts campaign is a fantastic way for customers to help ensure that our precious water resources are used as wisely as possible."
In 2018 Every Drop Counts took place in Barking, where 2,800 home visits were completed, saving approximately 83,000 litres of water a day, and saving each customer approximately £36 off their annual water and sewerage bill.

Customers will be offered appointments at a time that is convenient for them. A qualified plumber will check how water efficient your property is, and then tailor their water saving advice based on each individual household. This will include offering a wide range of free products designed to save water in the home.
The launch of Every Drop Counts marks the start of a year of activity from Essex & Suffolk Water in Leigh-on-Sea that will help customers save money, water, time and energy. As well as the water saving visits, customers will be offered help and advice on how to report leaks, take advantage of priority services and get help with their bill if they need it.
