Tim Wagstaff, Water Efficiency Manager for Northumbrian Water said: "We are very passionate about working with our customers to help use water wisely. We are really proud of our long history of engaging with hundreds of thousands of our customers to help them save water, which is great for them in both helping save money on their utility bills and in protecting our environment. Our award-winning Every Drop Counts campaign is a fantastic way for customers to help ensure that our precious water resources are used as wisely as possible."

In 2018 Every Drop Counts took place in Washington, where over 2,300 home visits took place, saving approximately 51,000 litres of water a day, and saving each customer approximately £20 off their annual water and sewerage bill.
