Customers in Newcastle are being invited to make their voices heard to help shape the future of Northumbrian Water.

The water company is bringing its ‘Have Your Say’ campaign to Northumberland Street, on Wednesday July 12, 2017.

Through the campaign, customers are encouraged to have conversations with Northumbrian Water about it’s existing and future services.

The thoughts and ideas will be used to feed into business plans and help drive decision making.

Elaine Erskine, Strategic Research Assurance Manager, said: “It’s absolutely essential that we put our customers at the heart of everything that we do. We want people to have a conversation with us, face-to-face, in order to understand how they feel about the services we provide.

“Our customers can help us to shape our future together and this is important so that we can continue to provide top quality tap water, protect and enhance the environment, and support our communities.”

Northumbrian Water’s community vehicle, Flo, will be parked in Newcastle on Northumberland Street South, near Monument Mall, between 9.00am and 5.30pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 for customers to have their say.

While there, the company will also be seeking customers’ views about some of the ideas that have already come from its week-long Innovation Festival, currently taking place at Newcastle Racecourse.

The event is bringing together national and global businesses, academics and members of the public, using design ‘sprint’ thinking to explore and create new solutions to some of the biggest social and environmental challenges we face. People can keep up to date with the festival at innovationfestival.org.
