Appointment and retirement of Directors
The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Margaret Fay CBE as a non-executive director on the Boards of the
Company and of Northumbrian Water Limited ("NWL") with effect from 1 June 2010.
Mrs Fay was formerly Managing Director of Tyne Tees Television until she took early retirement in December 2003 in order to
take up her current position as Chairman of One North East.
The Company confirms that there is no information to be disclosed in accordance with LR9.6.13 points (1) to (6). At the
date of this notification, Mrs Fay holds no shares in the Company.
The Company also announces the retirement of Jenny Williams from the Boards of both the Company and NWL with effect from
the close of NWG's AGM on 29 July 2010.
Sir Derek Wanless, Chairman of the Company, said "We thank Jenny for her valuable
contribution to the Company and wish her very well for the future. We are
delighted to be welcoming Margaret, who brings a wealth of experience in both executive and non-executive roles and is very
well respected in the region and at a national level."
